A Surgical Knife is a type of knife used in the science of surgery o cut, make incisions and for amputations. A very commonly used type is the scalpel. It is a small bladed tool used to make incisions during any medical or scientific activities like surgeries, biopsies, and dissections. Being highly effective for precision cuts on or through many different surfaces, these knifes are also being used by craftsmen and artists. The blade of a Surgical Knife should be highly sharp as such knives need to slice through skin and other tissues with an optimum degree of precision. Surgical knives are usually made of high-grade tempered steel, though at times more expensive, higher-quality materials are also used.
