Bi-prism has a highly obtuse angle to facilitate beam splitting. It an optical device used for obtaining interference fringes. It produces and control light. Fresnel Bi-Prism: The Fresnel Bi-prism overcomes the difficulty associated with the extended secondary slits by replacing them with “virtual slits”.
