Plastic Pipette is a useful laboratory plasticware used to transfer a measured volume of liquid in a lab experiment. Pipettes are also known as pipet or chemical dropper. These are commonly used in molecular biology, analytical chemistry as well as medical tests. The apparatus can be found in various designs for a number of purposes with differing degree of accuracy and precision. Other than the plastic pipette, glass pipettes are common in laboratories. There can be various designs of plastic pipette; some of the commonly found pipettes designed to meet the different application requirements are Piston driven-air displacement pipette, positive displacement pipette, vacuum-assisted pipette, volumetric pipette, and graduated pipette. Pipettes made of plastic are less fragile than the glass pipettes.
