A Plastic Flask is a piece of laboratory plasticware used for containing liquids, for making solutions or for holding, collecting, or sometimes volumetric measuring chemicals. It is also used for chemical reactions or other processes such as mixing, dissolving, precipitation, or analysis. Plastic flasks are becoming a common feature in chemical or scientific research laboratories. Although glass is primarily used in manufacturing flasks, plastic is the other most common material employed in the production of flasks. Such flasks come in a variety of shapes and sizes ranging from milliliter to liter. Plastic flasks are much more durable than those made of glass. It is convenient to handle and not easily perishable.
