Plastic Burette is a lab apparatus normally used in place of the traditional glass burettes to avoid breakages in laboratories or research institutions. Burettes are generally referred to as a piece of laboratory equipment with a cylindrical shape and a stopcock or precision tap, which regulates the flow of liquids. Also known as “Buret”, it has volumetric graduation on its full length to measure the amount of fluids contained in the apparatus. Burettes are used in experiments wherein a certain amount of reagent is to be added to an on-going chemical reaction. The attached stopcock helps in dispensing desired amount of the reagent. Burettes made of plastic are less fragile and less expensive than the glass burettes; therefore, the product is demanded across many educational, research or industrial laboratories, especially where breakages often occur.
