A Fisher Clamp is a type of clamp used as laboratory fittings. Such clamps are made of polypropylene to hold burettes and prevent it from slipping. These clamps are moulded in Polypropylene making it completely corrosion-proof. It consists of a spring loaded jack in the middle that provides a vice like grip to the burette. This grip holds the burette firmly, thereby protecting it against slipping from the tapered wedges fixed on either side of the jack. The tapered wedges are provided to ensure firm grip on rods with having dia 1/2" or 3/8". Fisher clamp is a very useful piece of lab equipment aiding in the overall activities that are undertaken by scientists or chemical analysts in a clinical research or experimental tasks.
