A Boston Round is a type of bottle commonly used in the drug and chemical industries. Also known as Winchester Bottle, it is heavy and strong bottle made of amber (brown) glass that helps in filtering out UV light. Though, it also comes in plastic material and in different colours. A Boston Round is cylindrical in shape without a handle and a short curved shoulder. The top narrow opening is threaded for closing with a screw cap.
