Pulse Oximeter is a medical device that is used to monitor the oxygenation of a patient's hemoglobin. It is completely a non-invasive method. Herein, a sensor is located on a part of patient’s body that basically thin such as ear lobes or finger tips. The process facilitates light of two different wavelengths to pass through the patients which is recorded, with the help of a photo detector. The frequency and changes in the wavelengths due to the pulsing of arterial blood excluding skin, muscle, bone, fat, venous blood, and more helps to identify the oxygen in the body. Pulse Oximeters offers accurate results capability to calculate the heart rate as well as oxygen saturation in the blood.
