Endoscopy is a medical procedure used to look inside the human body, specifically the internals of a hollow organs or any kind of the cavity inside the body. As compared to the other medical imaging instruments such as ultrasound, endoscope is inserted in the organ directly. An Endoscope machine is consist of a sturdy or versatile tube, a light delivery system, a lens system, an eyepiece, as well as an additional channel that permit the entry of manipulators or medical instruments. Endoscope is inserted through a natural opening of the body such as mouth for bronchoscopy or the rectum for a sigmoidoscopy.
