Plant Growth Chambers are developed to produce a natural and harmless environmental condition (humidity and temperature) to optimize plant growth. Also called environmental chambers or terrestrial plant growth chambers, these chambers have various applications such as plant breeding and genetic research, photosynthesis, nutrition, and other aspects of plant physiology. In modern times, Plant Growth Chambers have become highly sophisticated devices and include technically advanced features like, touch-screen controls, observation windows, additional lighting, humidity control, CO2 enrichment, spray nozzle packages, air-cooled condensing, remote-controlled condensing, dry alarms, cabinets and shelving, dimmable lighting, extended temperature ranges, and heated or glass doors. Most of the modern Plant Growth Chambers are engineered from metal and covered in a white enamel finish.
