A Hot Air Sterilizer is among the most advanced equipment used for sterilization of instruments. It is technically well equipped to eliminate even the most stubborn microbial organism on medical/hospital/surgical equipment. Hot air sterilizers use application of dry heat with the temperature in the range of 50 to 250oC. The need for such sterilizers arises as mere disinfection of the instruments is not enough. Sterilization ensures total destruction of the present bacteria, virus, fungi or other microorganism.
Hot air sterilizers are generally made of high grade stainless steel. The main chamber contains a lift that is tightly closed before starting the process. The inside temperature is regulated by a control panel and the temperature is displayed on digital display panel. Hot air sterilizers maintain the temperature at a set point throughout the sterilization process thereby ensuring complete elimination of the contaminants.
