.Nebulizer is a device also commonly called as atomizer that evaporates the medicated liquid to be inhaled to lungs through a mask or allied material. Primarily meant to manage medication of asthma patients, however, it can also be used for patients with other respiratory ailments. Although equally effective as inhalers in delivering medications, nebulizers are widely preferred in more serious breathing situations particularly in asthma attacks.

Operated through either electricity or battery power, it consists of a compressor that drives oxygen through a plastic tube into a cup holding the liquid. The mixture of oxygen and liquid then evaporates and is transferred through mouthpiece to the lungs. The facemask allows an easy passage of the vapors to the recipients of medication.
